O'Sensei Memorial Seminar for April 14-15, 2007.

Our Yahoo group here will have the latest day-to-day updates and information about the Seminar. All participants, please check here daily.

 

Also, updates will be posted here in the Daily Message on our website and in our monthly newsletter, Aiki Dojo, which is posted on line. The Yahoo group however, will have the most recent updates. Many thanks and we look forward to meeting all of you next year!

1. Applications for the Seminar will be posted soon.

2. If you need accomodations, please contact Kensho Furuya Sensei. We are in the process of looking for very reasonable and economic places to stay near the dojo.

3. We will have the cost of the seminar in a few days. At the moment, we are calculating total costs by expected number of participants to find the amount to be shared by each participant.

4. All instructors attending should contact us. We will be setting up a special welcome party for all of the Chief Instructors & Instructors attending.

5. There will be a Grand Welcome Party for Yonemochi Sensei on Saturday evening. Everyone is invited but this will be an extra fee. Please provide for this in your budget.

6. For any questions or special needs or concerns, please contact Kensho Furuya freely without hestitaion by email.

7. There will be a number of classes each day with Yonemochi Shihan and all of the visiting instructors participating. It should be a wonderful learning experience. Please bring extra uniforms for yourself, plus bring you own bokken, jo and tanto.

8. There will be early morning Introductory Classes in Iaido each day for those interested in Iaido.

9. All proper rules of etiquette and manners according to Hombu Dojo will be observed.

10. Please keep in mind that the purpose of this Seminar is to remember O'Sensei and the late Mitsunari Kanai Sensei and to welcome Hideo Yonemochi Sensei from Aikikai Hombu Dojo. The purpose of this Seminar is to come together in friendship and true Aikido spirit, share our training with each other and become good friends. And finally to show our support to 3rd Doshu and Aikikai.
