The front of the shirt has our dojo logo in bright turqoise blue. The back of the t-shirt as illustrated above has "Aikido" in O'Sensei's calligraphy in white. The name of the dojo is also in white. The vertical line is in "tea" green, and the horizontal line is a light purple color. The two crossed vertical lines represent a "square" along with with smaller white circle and triangle. According to O'Sensei, the square, triangle and circle are the three basic forms of Nature and all Aikido techniques are based on the relationship of these three forms.

In traditional Japanese Swordsmanship, the circle, triangle and square represent Heaven, Earth and Man and all functions of Life and sword technique are based on the natural order and interaction of these three levels of existence. These three elements are form part of the secret oral teaching of the Yagyu Shinkage School of swordsmanship.

I think it is a great design and I hope everyone will get their own to wear with pride.
