About the Aikido Center of Los Angeles:

A traditional dojo which offers a serene space for the practice of aikido - the martial art of peace. The dojo was built by our late teacher Reverend Kensho Furuya Sensei, and was inspired by a Japanese 16th century warrior's residence. We practice on tatami mats surrounded by antiques, scrolls, and shoji screens. This space offers a moment to become present, to train our bodies and minds, and to build community.

What to bring:

A yoga mat. (Although our tatami mats are beautiful, please bring your own mat for the best experience)

Water to stay hydrated.

Parking - street parking available but please do not leave anything visible.
